Two suspects wanted after crashing into car shop and stealing car: police

BELLEVUE, WA – Bellevue police are looking for at least two suspects after they crashed into an auto shop early Tuesday morning and stole a Porsche. Police say a white Chevrolet Cruz rammed into a store in the 2200 block of northeast 120th Avenue just after midnight.

Police say another man arrived in a separate vehicle and all three entered the auto shop, and a suspect fled in the stolen car. One man left in the Chevrolet and the third in another vehicle.

Within minutes, police said state troopers responding to a crash located the Porsche near a northbound on-ramp to Interstate 405. The Washington State Patrol stopped a 31-year-old man at the scene of the accident on suspicion of auto theft.

Police said the plates on the Chevy Cruz pointed them to Fife, where police had just seized the vehicle after a separate incident where it was used to ram into a dealership and steal a Ford Bronco.

At least two suspected suspects in both cases were still at large Tuesday morning.
