Naperville auto repair shop wins national honor

NAPERVILLE – For the second year in a row, the owner of a transmission and auto repair shop in Naperville was named Milex Franchisee of the Year.

Al Martin has operated the Multistate Transmission store in Naperville for the past 26 years and co-branded the store with Milex Complete Auto Care in 2015. This year is his third time winning the award, with the others being coming in 2016 and 2020.

Milex is part of the Moran family of brands, based in Midlothian. Martin started at Moran as Director of Operations for Head Office and was recently part of Moran’s Franchise Advisory Alliance.

The Moran family of brands, one of the nation’s leading franchises of general auto repair, transmission repair and window tinting services, recently announced its annual Franchisee of the Year winners for all three categories. Martin is the only winner from Illinois.

The three Franchisee of the Year winners will be recognized at the Moran Family of Brands Convention, which will be held February 3-5 in New Orleans. Voting for the awards was carried out by the Moran franchisees.
