BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) – At least five vehicles were destroyed in a fire Sunday afternoon at an auto garage on Colson Road near Freeway 6 in Bryan.

The fire was reported just before 1:00 p.m. in the 3500 block of Colson Road near Clarks Lane.
When firefighters arrived, they reported thick smoke billowing from the building and a fire visible from outside.
It is not known who owns the building or the name of the auto store, but it appears most of the interior was damaged by the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.

A man at the scene of the fire told us he had to pick up his vehicle from the store on Saturday. When he arrived today, he saw that the building was engulfed in flames. He hopes his vehicle is recoverable.
The total number of vehicles inside the store at the time of the fire was not immediately available.
