2 moonlighting auto mechanics fall in Nueva Vizcaya takeover
SOLANO, Nueva Vizcaya – Police arrested two auto mechanics who were moonlighting as drug dealers in a buying operation in Barangay Poblacion North here.
Police Senior Staff Sgt. Case manager Renzy Yarcia identified the suspects as Jay Adrian Benesa, 28, and Byron Candelario, 23, residents of Barangay Quirino, that town.
The duo were arrested after selling a clear heat-sealed plastic bag containing suspected shabu to a police poser-buyer.
We recovered four small heat-sealed transparent plastic bags of shabu and the redemption money.
Police have not released the value of the illegal drugs seized from the suspects.
Police added that the suspects had been involved in drug trafficking for some time. They have loyal customers and use their profits to buy shabu for themselves.
The suspects and evidence were taken to Solano Police Station for documentation and proper disposal.
The weekend operation was carried out in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
